Release Party + Review + Giveaway ~ Legend's Fall by Monica Corwin

Legend states when King Arthur is needed most he will return. What if the legends are wrong?

Maggie Sanders gave six years and two feet of her now scarred and twisted body to the United States Army. She received a thank you note and a discharge in return. Effectively booted to the curb Maggie tries to pick up the piece of her life until her revival is interrupted by one smoking hot immortal.

Arthur Pendragon, legendary King and military leader, has been trapped on the mythical island of Avalon for 1500 years. When he is thrust from captivity to the modern world he has to fight to stay there. Too bad for him, she has more fight than he anticipates. With the help of Maggie and a teenage Merlin, Arthur set outs to end his torture and free the rest of his comrades from imprisonment.

This book presents the legend of Arthur Pendragon in a unique way; it is an awe-inspiring romantic story with a paranormal edge. The chemistry between the two lead characters is prevailing and realistic. The book is well-written and engages the reader immediately. The author has created an interesting concept with just enough differences to make it memorable. She managed to pack in enough character development to keep me invested in this couple's relationship and the story line was perfectly paced. I can't wait to see where it's headed next!

This was a lovely, upbeat little story with a little steam, a lot of smiles - I can't wait to see where it's headed next!
Disclosure: This ebook was provided to me free of charge by the Author for the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments, and ratings are my own.

  7. Yes, I'm familiar. I love the Arthur legends. I watched practically every related show, movie, and anime. I even got into the Final Fantasy game series when I absolutely had to play FFVII just so I could get the Knights of the Round summons. Arthur returning from Avalon is a great built in feature of the legends. It allows for almost infinite possibilities for future stories.
