Review ~ Game for Trouble (Game for It #2) by Karen Erickson

He’ll play dirty to get what he wants… Willow Cavanaugh would be happy if she never saw cocky football star Nick Hamilton again. Sure, their fling was the hottest she’d had, but he’s way too much of a playboy to settle down with one woman. Plus, she’s got her heart set on a piece of real estate for her catering business—and Nick owns that property. Nick may be at the top of his game, but all he wants is a second chance with Willow. When he offers to sell her his commercial space if she agrees to a series of dates with him, their chemistry is so scintillating that jumping back into bed seems like an inevitability. But Willow’s decided all’s fair in sex and blackmail. Little does she know, Nick’s playing to win…and she’s the prize.
Game for Trouble was such a great read. It was funny, heartwarming, touching as well as Steamy. Willow came from a wealthy family. Her father was a lawyer for big time sports players, after Willow' s mother left them, her father cherished her but was extremely overprotective. When Willow was 19 she started dating Nick, a football player, only to end up in a painful break-up, where he just up and left. Years later they came into each others lives again. Willow was strong, determined, stubborn, forgiving, caring and kind.

When Nick 're-entered her life she was scared and sceptical plus still cared resentment from their break-up. She just didn't know the reasons or causes of their break-up and only wanted to focus on making her business a success without her dad's help. Nick never was able to get Willow out of his mind or head, was determined to win her back. Nick was strong, sexy, adventurous, determined, funny, loving, caring, supportive and protective. This was a wonderful read about love lost and found. I truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend.
